No Commentary, No Spin, Just Scripture
I was a few weeks into my OpenClaw journey and I kept pushing it to see what it could handle. One night I was sitting there thinking, what would it be like to chat with God the way people chat with ChatGPT? You can't hear directly from God through a screen. But we do have the Bible. So what if I built something where you could ask any question and the only thing it could respond with was Scripture? No commentary. No theological spin. No opinions. Just what the Bible says.
That's how Ask the Bible was born. I kept adding features just to see how far OpenClaw could take it. Turns out, pretty far. One of my favorite features is the word study tool. You can tap any word in any translation and it gives you the original Greek or Hebrew meaning with historical context tied to the passage you're reading. No political bias, no denominational slant. Just the historical roots of the word and how the Bible uses it. I've been reading the Bible my whole life and this tool is showing me things I've never seen before.
The app is free and it's still in development. You can try it now at askthebibleapp.com. This started as a challenge to see what OpenClaw could build. It turned into my favorite Bible app I've ever used, and I've used a lot of them.
